Master Mason certificate designed and drawn by Penniman, engraved by Newcomb. Certificate issued to John McLaughlin of the Penobscot Lodge by Grand Lodge of Maine. McLaughlin signature on right hand side of certificate. Design includes symbols of Faith, Charity, and Hope surrounding a sphere, all-seeing eye, tessalated floor, square and compass, and plumb.
