The certificate, issued on June 27, 1884 in New Hampshire, is written in black ink with a background of Templarian images around the sides.

Manuscript certificate issued to R. Lowry from Lodge No. 114, Killyleagh, Country of Down, Ireland. Lowry was made a Master Mason, then Royal Arch Mason, then Knight Templar at the same lodge. Certificate has a red wax seal with blue, black, and red ribbon hanging down. There is a large all-seeing eye which is drawn in ink at the top of the certificate.
